During your Reef Scenic Flight you will fly over Green Island. Green Island is a picturesque coral cay situated 26 kilometers north east of Cairns. At certain times of the year pods of whales are often spotted in the vicinity of Green Island.
This flight also flies over the Low Isles which are situated 15 kilometers off the coast of Port Douglas. The Low Isles Group is made up of two islands, the smaller is called Low Island and is home to a lighthouse and small harbor. The second, larger, island is called Woody Island. Marine life spotting is a highlight of this Reef Scenic Flight. Manta Rays, large Green Turtles, Dugong, Sharks and at certain times of the year Whales can clearly be seen from the aircraft.
